The Prospector 14′ Solo features a symmetrical hull with moderate rocker for responsive performance. More efficient on flatwater than its tandem counterparts, while maintaining the capacity you expect from a Prospector. Our wooden bench seat can be ordered hung flat or angled depending on your preference (shown angled in product photos). For backcountry tripping we recommend adding the removeable yoke option for ease of use on the portage trail Made in Canada. Built by infusing Aramid cloth with our high impact resistant vinylester resin these canoes have great strength to weight characteristics. While they are ideal for wilderness trips involving lots of long portages, it is also wonderful just to have a lightweight canoe to put on and off the car.
